The Defender is a precision-fit pinball machine mat for standard width cabinets. A widebody variant is in development. The Defender is a proper glass and playfield protector rather than a cut piece of shelf liner, drawer liner, or a repurposed yoga mat. The top surface is high-resolution printed fabric that is bonded to a rubberised neoprene backing. That backing is what keeps it flat on the glass without sliding, and unlike plain rubber or PVC foam alternatives it won’t leave marks on the glass. The edges are fully stitched. It protects against dust, UV, and scratches when the machine isn’t being played, and rolls up compact when it is.
Most pinball glass covers get the job done. This one is designed to look as considered as what’s underneath it. A glass dust cover that suits the games room as much as the game.
