The DART Ti is MAYA’s flagship shooter rod — a no-compromise composition of materials. The titanium rod delivers a crisp, clean launch with exceptional rigidity, while the aluminium grip is shaped using a single-point cutter, leaving a precise tactile finish that you just want to hold.

This isn’t just about premium materials — it’s about how they’re used. The combination of titanium and aluminium keeps the overall weight on par with stock shooter, giving it that fast, snappy feel players expect. But the mass is carefully distributed: the centre of gravity is positioned inside the plunger housing bushing at rest. Therefore, the moving mass of the system reaches maximum stability at the point of ball impact, resulting in smooth, accurate shots with repeatable control.

Each handle is deep anodised in-house at our Hertfordshire workshop, preserving the raw feel while adding a hard-wearing copper tone matte finish. Every step — from concept to turning, finishing, and assembly — is done here in the UK. The only part we didn’t do? Dig the ore out of the ground.

Ergonomics weren’t an afterthought. The handle is designed to offer two natural grip positions — one closer to the plunger tip for speed and snap, the other further back for a heavier, more deliberate pull. Whether you’re feathering a soft plunge or launching with power, the shape invites control. The recess that cups over the barrel spring is not just for weight reduction and moving the mass closer to the centre; it stops the handle protruding towards the player any more than a spiked shooter rod.
