Amazon Hunt

Lower artwork shows a feathered female figure with an outstretched arm and several snarling lion or jaguar heads among teal crystal shards. The wooden apron carries a HOW TO PLAY card on the left and a replay-scoring card on the right, with a large yellow-outlined V chevron between them.

A late-1980s backglass dominated by a huge arcing title logo across the top third: 'AMAZON HUNT' in heavy, wide, slanted capital letters, yellow-to-orange gradient faces with a black outline and a dark drop shadow, the words bowed in two arcs against a black starry sky. In the centre a muscular, bare-chested blond man with swept-back shoulder-length hair glares upward with a grim, open-mouthed expression, gripping a thick wooden spear horizontally across his chest with both hands; he wears turquoise beaded wristbands and armbands and layered orange-and-yellow bead necklaces. Behind him is a cracked grey stone ring-arch. To the right looms a large cobra-like snake head and coils, a parrot with green-and-yellow plumature, and dense jungle foliage. The lower half is a collage: teal-grey mountain peaks and spearheads on the left, a small carved idol face, a profile of a man in a helmet, an old sailing ship on brown water, frogs and a crocodile, and huge yellow-green fern leaves on the right. Four green alphanumeric displays read '54', '0000', '000' and '0000'. A small blue teardrop credit panel sits centre-bottom.

Central figure: a young fair-skinned woman with swept-up reddish-brown hair, heavy-lidded eyes and red lipstick, wearing a gold beaded collar, holding a long thick red-and-black banded snake coiled horizontally across her bare chest, a spear point rising at her left hand. A dark snarling big-cat head with bared teeth crowds in from the lower left; at right a scaled reptile limb and clawed hand reach inward. Broad green palm fronds fill the bottom corners. The lower third is a black control panel with red chevron button decals, a blue-outlined display window and a blue circle emblem, framed by teal and red painted trim.
