Bounty Hunter

A Wild-West gunfight playfield, hand-painted in a mid-century illustrative style. The centre of the lower half is dominated by an enormous chrome-grey revolver shown side-on, its barrel pointing left and its cylinder forming a firing target panel ringed by six yellow numbered circles 6-1-2-5-4-3 under an arched FIRING CHAMBER caption. Running up the left-centre is a black rifle/musket laid diagonally over the artwork. A screaming dark-haired woman in a bright red dress stands left of centre with arms flung up, beside a red target bank of three oval windows marked 0, 1 and 2. The apron and lower side lanes carry red bands printed with a marching row of yellow ape-to-man evolution silhouettes, and yellow arrow banners reading COLLECT BONUS on both lower corners. Sand-coloured desert ground, black scrub bushes, snow-capped peaks and blue distance fill the background; a black eagle with spread wings dominates the right side. Three yellow pop bumper caps sit across the upper playfield, with clear ball guides, chrome posts, a wire ramp and a chute of tumbling human-figure targets at the top right. Palette is dominated by warm yellow, red, black, and steel grey.

A late-1970s solid-state playfield shot from above through the glass, warm yellowed with age and lit by two glowing yellow pop-bumper caps near the top centre. Dominant colours are mustard gold, dark brown, black, red and grey steel. A four-lane top row with red plastic lane guides sits at the top, flanked by chrome guide rails and a curved clear plastic ball guide arcing over the upper right. Down the centre runs a long grey metal ramp/habitrail ending in a grey circular trapdoor hole surrounded by a yellow flower-shaped plate reading 'CHAMBER' with eight round numbered inserts 1-8 in a ring. Lower centre is a large painted black revolver barrel and trigger assembly pointing up-field, flanked by two triangular windows showing painted cowboys and guns, bordered by red-and-yellow chevron artwork. Two angled drop-target banks of three white rectangles each sit mid-left and mid-right, with red 'COLLECT BONUS' banners on yellow at the outlanes and a big yellow smiley-face circle on the lower apron. The apron carries a black instruction card on the left and a yellow 'Gottlieb' logo on the right.

A painted, comic-book-styled backglass. Across the bottom runs a wide yellow-to-orange gradient banner carrying the title in large red slab-serif capitals with a dark drop shadow. Above it, centre-bottom, is a black rectangular score panel: four gold shield plaques numbered 1, 2, 3 and 4 in red sit at the corners, a blue segmented window reads TOP GUNS in white between groups of blue lamp dots, and below it two blue alphanumeric windows show 13,999,650 and 24,050. The main figure is a stern, square-jawed white man in a wide black cowboy hat, dark teal coat with a shaggy brown fur collar, a cartridge bandolier, and a cigar with a curl of smoke; he points a revolver down and to the right. Behind him on the right stands a fair-skinned woman with short curled auburn hair, a black choker, and a strapless scarlet gown. Three more hatted men in blue and brown coats crowd the background at her shoulders. The setting is a dark brick building with lit sash windows under a deep blue night sky.
