Full description

Illustrated trans-light style backglass with a white painted outer border streaked with orange-red vertical smears. Across the top, red cursive script lettering reading Gottlieb's sits left of two stacked tall block words, CENTRAL in yellow and PARK in orange-red, both outlined. Left of centre is a red-and-yellow trapezoidal score window showing three digit reels reading ,151 with blank leading reels and small dot separators. The painted park scene shows, at right, a grinning mustachioed man in a magenta jacket, yellow flat cap and blue tie holding a rod like a fishing pole over a blue-mesh square grille, his other hand on a white folding chair. Behind him a white horse-drawn carriage and a red motorcar carrying passengers on a road among trees, with city towers on the skyline. At lower centre a black circular dome opening breaks the artwork. Lower left a blonde woman in a white dress and a child in a blue sailor cap peer over a table with cups and a teapot, while a man in a navy jacket and another in a red cap sit opposite. Tiny bottom print reads MFD. BY D. GOTTLIEB & CO. on the left and CHICAGO, ILL. 60651 on the right of a small yellow logo box. Chipped paint and two bare brown repair patches mark the border.
