Cirqus Voltaire

A full-length electro-mechanical playfield photographed from above, lit by blue and warm lamps, with a dark violet and black swirling painted background covered in a chaotic carnival-and-big-top collage: concentric white chalk-like swirls, red-and-yellow striped tent canvas, stars, spotlights and ribbon banners. A full-colour comic-style backglass dominated by a female acrobat-villain figure in the centre. She has a yellow-green face with heavy red eye shadow, arched brows and a sly smirk, and wears a close-fitting magenta and purple harlequin-patterned leotard with red-and-white striped sleeves, yellow gloves and tall boots. A vast white feathered wing or plume arcs up behind her right shoulder, and a white spiral vortex curls to her right. At upper left a large yellow-and-red script logo sits over a green and lime sunburst background streaked with blue. On the left, a red-haired woman in a purple top and orange trousers leaps diagonally holding a yellow lightning bolt. On the right, a long-haired man in an orange-red costume kneels and reaches upward toward the spiral. Above, an orange and red figure dives horizontally across the top edge. Lower centre a blue-faced jester or clown head with a yellow ruff peers out. A red truss or bridge structure runs across the bottom, with a green coiled spring shape, and two circular white-and-red ringed target devices in the bottom corners.
