Backglass

Fingerprint: action: Five enormous navy reel numerals 1-5 in cream ovals ringed by orange scallops with MILLION in white block capitals below, white brush script title on deep magenta banner, symmetric orange-cream striped scoring grid lower two-thirds with flame tongues and red diamond marked 888

Distinctive

A backglass that is nothing but numbers: five enormous navy reel numerals 1-5 in cream ovals ringed by orange scallops, with the word 'MILLION' in white block capitals below them. The title in white brush script on a deep magenta banner is partly lost in a bright glare reflection, leaving only the trailing 'le Action' readable. The whole lower two-thirds is a symmetric orange-and-cream striped scoring grid with flame tongues and a small red diamond marked '888' at the centre. Framed by pale varnished wood with a visible mitred inner bevel.

Full description

A tall, portrait-format backglass card set into a light honey-brown wooden cabinet frame with a mitred inner bevel. The printed card is entirely a scoring chart, with no human or cartoon figures anywhere. Across the top runs a deep magenta-pink banner carrying the game title in flowing white brush script with a black drop shadow, reading '...le Action' (a small dark script word sits before it); glare obscures the first half of the title. Directly below, five large navy-blue numerals 1 2 3 4 5 sit in individual cream-coloured ovals ringed by orange flame- or petal-shaped scallops, each numeral carrying a red highlight. 'MILLION' is spelled out beneath them in bold white block capitals on the pink field. The middle band is a row of nine yellow-cream ovals on orange, each split into two lines: 100 / 1000, 200 / 2000, 300 / 3000, 400 / 4000, 500 / 5000, 600 / 6000, 700 / 7000, 800 / 8000 and 900 / 9000. The lower half becomes a striped orange-and-cream field of vertical score columns with red flame tongues rising behind them, a red diamond medallion marked '888' at centre, and further small red totals. Along the bottom edge four more ovals read 5, 10, 15, 20. White-and-dark striped triangular wedges flank the lower scoring area on both sides, and a row of small green glass/plastic dots sits at bottom right.
