El Dorado

The art is a painted cartoon Western desert scene in a hot palette: a cream and pale yellow base, a large radiating sunburst of red and orange rays fanning out from the lower-centre, and dusty olive and brown hills. Green saguaro cacti stand on the left and near the centre, with further desert rock and scrub scenery across the upper playfield. Physical hardware dominates: a horizontal row of white round bumper caps with red star and compass-rose motifs along the top, a raised ramp and wire ball guides in orange and red, cream and tan plastic lane guides, metal posts and rubbers, and two white rubber-tipped flippers low down. In the centre of the lower playfield sits a horizontally-oval painted emblem with a red ribbon banner across it, carrying small black lettering including a manufacturer credit line and a Chicago, Illinois address. Score values are printed in numerals around the field. Condition is fair: the locking glass shows strong reflections and a red neon glow, the playfield has visible wear, and the surrounding cabinet trim is scuffed.

Physical hardware covers much of it: two big round cream pop-bumper caps printed with red target-ring motifs, a long bank of upright rectangular drop targets across the top, a diagonal bank of similar targets down the right, chrome ball-guide rails forming a V and a pair of narrow lanes down each side, and two white rubber-tipped flippers low centre. Two mirrored yellow plastic ramp or habitrail tongues run down the left and right lower playfield, each printed with a black rocket and marked 1000.
