Distinctive

A giant charging brown bull in mid-leap, with a red cape flying over its back and a matador bent over it in an ornate yellow bullfighter's suit. Two mirrored hot-pink score-reel panels across the top, each with a big yellow 1 or 2, flank a pale pink archway with white double doors. Two identical grey-suited men in fedoras peek over a striped rail at the right, next to a BALL IN PLAY light panel.

Full description

A painted pinball backglass in flat, bright mid-century cartoon style. The upper third is a hot pink banner holding two score reels in white hexagonal windows, a large yellow numeral 1 at left and 2 at right, and red-and-yellow lettering reading 1st PLAYER and 2nd PLAYER. Between the reel panels sits a pale pink archway with a mint-green fan of light and white double doors. Along the top edge hang striped pennants and banners in blue, yellow, red, green and white. The lower two thirds show a sea-green arena floor. At centre a huge brown bull with a white face stripe charges right-to-left, horns forward, kicking up white-and-blue dust, a red cape flying over its back. Immediately behind it a matador in a vivid yellow costume covered in red and green scroll embroidery, blue sash and pink stockings leans over the bull. At the right two identical men in grey suits and grey fedoras peer over a striped rail. The title EL TORO is huge yellow block letters with red and blue drop shadows on a red triangular splash.
