A hand-painted cartoon pinball backglass with a flat bright blue sky and a green summer countryside. Across the top, red cursive script reads Chicago Coin's, followed by huge yellow block letters with black drop shadows and horizontal hatch shading spelling FIRE CRACKER. Below sit two symmetrical white score windows with red frames, each carrying a red-and-gold banner reading 1st PLAYER and 2nd PLAYER, each window showing a row of five dark green reel apertures. Between them are two red-and-yellow starburst explosions holding yellow numerals 1 and 2 above the words CAN PLAY. The central figure is a blonde pin-up woman in a blue sleeveless vest and yellow shorts, kneeling on a blue-and-white checkered picnic blanket, smiling and holding out yellow horseshoe-shaped objects, with gold-rimmed yellow rings spilled around her. To the left two young men in striped shirts lounge on the grass beside a stack of red firecrackers. To the right a boy in a blue shirt lunges near a grey dog, a red pickup truck sits on a dirt road, and a girl in a white blouse and red skirt runs carrying a red firecracker. A red picnic basket, a smoking firecracker and a red-handled bottle complete the scene. BALL IN PLAY appears in red at lower right.
