Fingerprint: FLYING SAUCERS in cream letters with yellow outline on dark-blue arc banner, enormous red flying saucer with glass dome and yellow porthole lights, curving column of smaller red-green saucers climbing left side, large red semi-circle with yellow segmented dome, wood-framed translight

Distinctive

The most memorable element is the huge red flying saucer with a glass dome and a ring of yellow porthole lights, tilted over a cream airbrushed glow. Second is the sweeping column of small red-and-green saucers climbing the left side in a curve, like a flight path. Third is the title FLYING SAUCERS in fat cream lettering with yellow outline on a dark-blue arc banner, with the smaller slanted word Gencos tucked at the left end of the arc. Fourth, the whole piece is framed in thick varnished pine with visible chipped and worn paint along the top edge.

Full description

A backglass translight in a thick varnished wooden frame, photographed slightly angled with a green-painted cabinet rail visible along the bottom edge. The artwork is a flat, poster-like airbrush in a primary-colour scheme: a deep royal-blue rectangular border field around the edges, a large cream-to-pink airbrushed oval glow in the centre, and a broad yellow field sweeping up the left and middle. Across the top a dark-blue arcing banner carries the title in big cream letters with yellow outline and dark shadow: FLYING SAUCERS, preceded by a smaller slanted word Gencos in cream. Below the banner, a large red flying saucer with a domed glass canopy and a ring of round yellow porthole lights hovers centre-right, tilted, with tiny green-and-red figures visible inside under the glass; green, yellow and red speed-flash streaks radiate behind it. A curving column of about eight smaller red-rimmed, green-topped saucers climbs up the left side. Lower right is a large red semi-circle containing a yellow segmented dome with more tiny figures and a red rod. A rectangular cut-out slot sits mid-right, showing dark mechanism behind. Scuffed paint, scratches and a chipped area top-left.
