Fingerprint: FUN HOUSE in fat white block letters on deep royal-blue field, enormous grinning clown head center white-faced with red-orange curly wig holding striped ruff with blue medallion, four color-coded player windows green orange red blue with mechanical reel numbers, circus train with green dragon-head locomotive hauling brown and orange carriages

Distinctive

The single most memorable element is the enormous grinning clown head dead centre, white-faced with a red-orange curly wig, holding a striped ruff with a round blue medallion pinned at the throat. Around it the four bright player windows are colour-coded (green, orange, red, blue) and labelled 1ST through 4TH PLAYER with three-digit mechanical reel numbers. The bottom strip is unusually literal: a full circus train whose locomotive is a green dragon head with a long yellow jaw and red tongue, hauling brown and orange carriages along a black rail. A red cursive maker script sits above the title, and the top corners hold two profile busts flanking the two white instruction cards.

Full description

A painted electro-mechanical-style backglass on a deep royal-blue field with a yellow-and-white striped circus tent band running across the lower third. Top centre: the word Williams in small red cursive above the huge arched title FUN HOUSE in fat white block letters with black and blue drop shadows, sitting on a yellow ribbon banner reading 4 PLAYER. Directly beneath, a large grinning clown head - white face, red-orange curly mane, arched black brows, bulbous nose, wide red mouth with square white teeth and red tongue - stares straight out, with a striped ruff collar and a small round blue medallion at its throat. Left and right of the head are two bust portraits: at far left a pale bare-chested young man with short yellow-blond hair in profile facing right, at far right a red-haired woman in a yellow top facing left. Each sits beside a white card panel: the left reads 1 to 4 CAN PLAY in red and black, the right reads Smile! COMPETITION for more fun! in red and black script. Four player windows are stacked down the sides: green 1ST PLAYER with reels 7 2 9, orange 2ND PLAYER with 4 0 8, red 3rd PLAYER with 0 2 9, blue 4th PLAYER with 1 1 6, each headed by a numbered circle 1-4. The lower band shows a circus train of decorated cars pulled by a green dragon head, a small stage with two clowns, and BALL PLAY on a green banner at bottom left with DRACON LINE R.R. lettered along the bottom border.
