Full description

A rectangular painted backglass set in a pale cream wooden frame. Centre-right carries the title in two stacked lines: a small yellow script 'Gottlieb's' above huge block capitals 'JOKER' and 'POKER', letters yellow with a red inner fill and a heavy black outline, on a flat mustard-yellow sky. Three jester/clown women dominate the art: at left a figure in a pink-and-white harlequin diamond top with yellow spotted trousers and green-yellow cap, fanning out playing cards from her raised hand; centre a pink-haired jester in a pink-yellow-white diamond leotard and white-and-pink striped tights, crouched with one arm raised, her long pink hair curling forward; at right a blonde jester in an orange leotard, green-and-white striped tights and a two-pointed green/white cap, holding a striped circus ball and a small wand. Behind them are billowing magenta, purple, navy and teal clouds, with a fan of playing cards arcing up through the sky. Four player score windows in ornate orange-red frames with Greek-key borders sit at the four corners, each numbered 1 to 4 in a circle, showing blue digits. A yellow-and-navy chequered floor runs along the bottom with a central red-lit '020' display, a white 'BALL IN PLAY' arrow sign over ace and heart cards, and playing cards scattered at lower right. Style is flat, saturated airbrushed illustration with heavy black key lines.
