Full description

A brightly coloured, hand-painted card-themed backglass framed by a sky-blue background with white pinstriped scrolls in the top corners. A white arched band sweeps across the top carrying a row of white score boxes with coloured numerals reading 100,000 up to 900,000. Inside the arch is a fan of broad yellow, orange and red rays radiating from behind a heraldic shield. Below sits a white cursive logotype over the large red-and-gold block-serif title KINGS, whose letters contain tiny gold fleur-de-lis. Four crowned playing-card kings sit shoulder to shoulder at a long table draped in alternating green, yellow, orange and red vertical stripes; a black plaque on the tabletop reads MILLIONS in red. Two fair-skinned women in floor-length red gowns, gold crowns and billowing green veils flank the scene, the left one raising an arm, the right one holding her skirt. The lower third shows a red-and-blue chequered floor, a blue panel with the red text BALLS PLAYED above five coloured circles (pink, green, orange, green, red) and a large yellow scroll flourish. A yellow roundel top-left holds a jester figure; a yellow maker's emblem top-right reads A PRODUCT OF with a cursive name and CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.
