New Canasta

A basketball-themed backglass, brightly lit and photographed head-on with the dot-matrix display window cut into the middle of the artwork. Across the very top, a small yellow-on-dark-blue rectangle reads NEW, and beside it the main title CANASTA runs almost the full width in huge slab-serif capitals: yellow-to-orange gradient faces, a thick red inner outline, a white keyline and a dark blue drop shadow, all sitting on a curved blue-and-yellow banner band. Behind and below the title is a wall of orange, red and yellow. A large orange basketball with black seams looms directly under the title at centre-left. Photographic action imagery of players in coloured basketball kit is scattered around the edges: a figure in a yellow jersey at upper left, a mid-air player in a red-and-white kit near centre, and a large foreground player at lower right in a white jersey with red trim, seen from behind with a red number on the back, beside a red-clad figure. The centre of the glass is dominated by a black rectangular display bezel containing a red dot-matrix screen and lit alphanumeric score windows. Condition: slight screen glare and reflections on the glass, minor edge wear.
