Prospector

Full view of a wood-framed, glass-topped electro-mechanical playfield shot from above, the apron and coin door visible at the bottom. The playing surface is a wild-west prospecting scene in saturated turquoise, mustard yellow, red, white and black. Two huge caricatured male prospector heads dominate the upper middle: a black-haired man with a wide toothy grin facing left and a man in a pale wide-brimmed hat facing right, printed back to back. Above them sit a big translucent red bumper cap and two yellow domed bumpers each ringed with the number 100, flanked by star-and-rays advance gold bonus medallions. Two white diamond target banks sit below the heads, and the centre of the lower half is a large geometric diamond of red, blue and yellow panels ringed by grey and white circular target inserts and 5 and 6 value medallions, flanked by cartoon side panels - a green cactus with a white cowboy hat and a grinning red-lipped Mexican in a sombrero beside a bottle. Two blue-and-white flippers sit at the bottom above a black GOLD BONUS / DOUBLE WHEN LIT plate. Arrow banners reading FLIPPER BUTTON point inward from both lower corners, and a red-and-white logo block sits between two instruction cards.

A painted, cartoon-style backglass set in an Old West gold-mining camp in a desert canyon. Across the top a red-and-blue 3D block-letter title with white highlights reads PROSPECTOR, arcing over four cream-coloured score windows showing 318800, 322500, 334800 and 321600 on white reels. On the left a stocky, clean-shaven man in a black bowler hat, red jacket, white shirt, green tie and blue-and-white striped knickerbockers stands in shallow blue water holding a wicker basket of gold nuggets and a green-handled shovel. On the right a slim smiling man in a red bowler, green jacket, white shirt and red neckerchief holds an open book and a small red bucket. Centre-left sits a white-haired skull with huge curled ram horns mounted above a colourful parasol and a green tent, with a miner's lantern and a lantern-topped post. Backgrounds show layered tan mesas, a timbered mine entrance marked 500, a water tower, cacti, barrels, crates, pickaxes and pans. Small red-and-blue numbered UP discs (1, 2, 3, 4) and coloured number rings sit beside each score window. Dominant colours: red, blue, tan, green.
