Pulp Fiction

A wide, wedge-shaped pinball playfield crowded with cartoon-art film characters, shot head-and-shoulders in diamond frames and painted panels, over a deep blue sky with white starbursts. Lettering is dense and comic-poster style: 'PUPPET BOOTH' on a red hanging sign left of centre, a red 'PAWN SHOP' awning sign mid-field, and a large curved block-letter 'FELLINI' logo across the centre with 'JACK RABBIT' in a small white box on the left flank. The lower half fans out into a V of cream-coloured arrow insets carrying point values (2K, 3K, 4K, 10K, 20K, 30K, 40K, 50X) inside yellow-edged black diamonds, flanked by many small black name plaques with yellow capitals: MARVIN, WILLIAM, BUDDY, MOTHER, LOVE, ROCK, PAUL, JACK, BUTCH, TRAVELING THUG, CONNIE, SPECIAL BAG GUY. Two large male portraits anchor the lower left and lower right: a black man in a black cap and pale shirt shouting with a wide open mouth, and a fair-haired man in a brown suit staring grimly upward, each beside a large numeral 3 and 4 in a yellow-outlined circle. The apron carries a grey stone-style 'BAD MOTHER FLIPPER' plaque reading 'A MIXED REVISION' with '461st 1000' beneath, flanked by yellow 'HOW TO PLAY' and 'CONNECT PULP FICTION PINBALL ONLINE' instruction cards. Dominant colours are blue, red, yellow and black; the plastics, ramps and metal posts glow purple and cyan under lighting.

Full-length playfield seen through glass, shot slightly from above with the chrome side rails and the cabinet front below. Painted in airbrushed pulp-novel style: a blazing red, yellow and black palette with a blue oval sky panel down the middle. The whole lower half is dominated by two enormous painted portrait heads of men in suits and ties shouting from behind curved red arc guides. Between them sits a black shield-shaped lamp matrix fanning out with round windows reading 10, 20, 30, 40, 60 and 2X, and a burst graphic reading PULP FICTION. Above the shield stand three painted figures in a row (a man in a dark suit pointing both hands left, a woman in a light outfit with a red sash, a man in a black suit), with a woman in a magenta jacket below them on the left. Upper playfield: three pop bumpers with white scallop-fan caps, a red starburst explosion, a large angled red PAWN SHOP sign, wireform ramps down both upper corners, and a big chrome dome shape on the left edge. A green curved word RUN and a MILLION lamp row sit across the middle. The backbox top corners show two men in dark suits, and the cabinet front carries EZEKIEL 28:17 in red on a yellow sunburst.

A wide, brightly coloured backglass built as a comic-book homage to 1970s action cinema. Across the top, enormous block capitals read PULP FICTION in yellow-to-orange letters with a red keyline, a dotted marquee-bulb texture inside the strokes and a heavy black drop shadow. A blue ghost-face with big eyes peeks in from the upper right behind a yellow starburst. Centre stage: a barefoot brunette woman in an open white shirt and black trousers dancing in a lit spot, one arm arched over her head. She is flanked by two large black-suited, dark-haired gunmen in sunglasses in the left and right foreground, one holding a pistol upright beside a briefcase of cash. Behind them, a pub/bar interior with a bottle-lined counter, hanging dome lamps and floating musical notes, populated by roughly ten background figures including a dancing blonde in an orange skirt, a couple in blue and pink, a woman in a short green dress, a man in a red plaid jacket and a waiter. Two red-outlined seven-segment readouts sit high left and right reading REPLAY and ATTRACT. Four yellow circle markers labelled 1UP, 2UP, 3UP and 4UP ring the edges. Along the bottom sit a cream Time 17 Years badge, a black briefcase, a yellow This Contest starburst, dark red MATCH and TILT panels, and a grey credits-window graphic with red 00 digits, CREDITS and BALL IN PLAY, an ABCDEFGHIJ letter strip and GAME OVER in red.

A very wide, letterboxed backglass built like a cinema marquee. Across the top, an enormous arched title PULP FICTION in chunky yellow block capitals with red inline shading, white highlights and a heavy black drop shadow, spanning almost the full width. Behind it is a dark navy-blue radial burst background with scattered musical-note icons and pink neon squiggles; a grinning blue cartoon cat face with big green eyes leans in at the top right corner. Four yellow circle badges with black numerals and UP read 1UP, 2UP, 3UP and 4UP, one in each corner region, each paired with a black rectangular display window showing dot-matrix letters and digits (REPLAY upper left, MATCHING upper right, 250 000 00 lower right, all-blank digits lower left). Down the centre a barefoot woman with a dark bob haircut, white open shirt and black flared trousers poses with one arm raised, one hand on her hip, standing on a pale mint-green spotlight pool. Flanking her are two large painted men in black suits and ties, each holding a handgun, one bearded and shouting at left, one long-haired and grim at right. Between them, mid-depth, is a busy neon-lit bar scene with bottles on shelves, a jukebox and many small dancing patrons. The lower apron carries a grey mechanical-looking credit panel with ABCDEFGHIJ lettering between two red 00 readouts, flanked by red MATCH, TILT and GAME OVER lettering.
