Fingerprint: Points, big dark bat-winged emblem across centre with WHAM lettered over it flanked by two identical red-costumed showgirls, row of five downward-pointing numbered arrow banners under POINTS heading at top—mirrored 50-30-10-30-50, two round portrait medallions in bottom corners—man in top hat left and red-haired woman right—framing central blonde pin-up figure, cream-pale-blue-red palette

Distinctive

The bottom corners hold two round portrait medallions — a man in a top hat on the left and a red-haired woman on the right — which frame the central blonde pin-up figure. Full description

A tall, portrait-format single-level playfield in cream, pale blue and red with a strongly symmetrical, lane-and-bumper layout. Across the top a light-blue arch carries the word POINTS in spaced red-outlined capitals above a row of five downward-pointing arrow banners: 50 and 30 at the outer flanks in yellow and blue, a red 10 centred, mirrored. Below sits a cluster of five round pop-bumper caps on orange flower-shaped bases — four yellow-and-blue caps marked 10 with WHEN LIT roundels, and one green/teal cap marked 1 in the centre, with a red script club banner above them. The middle of the field is dominated by a bat-winged shield emblem with WHAM lettered across it, flanked by two identical cartoon showgirls in red costumes with feathered headpieces. Angular TARGET VALUE, TARGET 1000 and TARGET 300 panels sweep down to a central lower play area where a full-length blonde pin-up woman in a red bodice and skirt stands with arms out. Circular portrait medallions of a man in a top hat and a woman sit in the bottom corners. Cream plastic instruction cards with red and black lettering fill the bottom apron.

Backglass

Fingerprint: Giant grinning clown, white face and red nose, orange hair tufts, yellow ruffled collar with polka-dot bow tie, green-and-white striped sleeves stretched horizontally, purple torso with studs; small acrobats and clowns in pale blue sky; white angled ribbon banners; title 'SUPER CIRCUS' in red-and-yellow block capitals outlined in blue; brightly coloured cartoon style

Distinctive

A single enormous grinning clown dominates the centre, his green-and-white striped sleeves stretched horizontally across the whole backglass like a scarecrow. Another very memorable element is the pair of angled white ribbon slogans slanting down the left and right edges, one insisting the game is more fun to compete with than any other. Also striking: the two heavily ornamented punched-card score windows in pink and red, each topped by a numbered 1 and 2 medallion, and the red bottom band reading PLAYERS 1 2 with an arrow pointing at BALL IN PLAY. The title is the giveaway wordplay: SUPER CIRCUS in chunky red-and-yellow caps with blue outlining.

Full description

A brightly coloured cartoon backglass of an electromechanical circus game. Across the top a purple cursive brand script sits left of the huge title 'SUPER CIRCUS' in red-and-yellow block capitals outlined in blue and white, with '2-PLAYER' in slanted red script at upper right. A giant grinning clown fills the centre: white face, red nose, orange side tufts of hair, yellow ruffled collar with a polka-dot red bow tie, green shoulders, purple torso with a row of white studs, and a small orange-and-yellow hat. Both arms stretch outward in green-and-white striped sleeves. Eight small acrobat and clown vignettes scatter across the pale blue sky around him: a tumbling trapeze artist, a striped-hatted clown with arms raised, a ring of yellow tent poles, and a purple-and-yellow clown balancing on a wire. Two angled white ribbon banners carry black slogans, one left and one right. The lower half holds two ornate punched-card score windows, gold-edged with pink and red surrounds: the left reads 8 2 0 under a red '1' medallion, the right reads 1 2 0 0 under a purple '2' medallion. Small yellow and white discs numbered 1, 2 and 3 float beside the clown. A green grass strip and a red bottom band carry white lettering, with 'GAME OVER' at bottom right.
