The eye is caught first by the enormous red word JUMBO, its heavy block letters shadowed white on a cream scroll banner, with GOTTLIEB'S arched above it in red and a red script Deluxe at the left. Almost as striking are the two pale blue circus elephants in the top corners, each balancing a female acrobat on a coloured drum on its back. A blue-faced grinning clown in a striped conical party hat pops out of the middle of the glass, framed by the four large coloured numerals 1, 2, 3 and 4 that flank him down the centre. Four mismatched player panels - red, green, blue, red - each with three orange score-reel windows fill the bottom corners, giving the whole panel a busy carnival-booth symmetry. A small white card at left of centre carries the manufacturer signature in black script over red caps.
