Supreme x Stern backglass

Backglass

  • red
  • white

Fingerprint: SC — extreme close-up showing only small patch of saturated red backglass, two enormous white sans-serif capitals (S above C) running downwards, plain heavy lettering with no serifs, soft grey edge shading on letters, no figures artwork logos or surrounding decoration visible

Distinctive

A tightly cropped patch of pure red backglass carrying two gigantic white block capitals, an S above a C, running down the frame. The scale of the lettering is the identifying feature: each letter spans roughly a third of the image height and is rendered in a plain heavy sans-serif. The flat saturated red ground with no artwork, figures or ornament visible means this is a fragment of a much larger title word, not a complete panel.

Setting

Full description

An extreme close-up crop of a pinball backglass, showing only a small patch of the artwork rather than the whole panel. The entire frame is a flat, saturated red field, with a faint slightly lighter red rectangular block visible in the upper area. Two enormous white capital letters dominate the image, stacked one above the other and rotated so they read downwards along the frame: a bold white S at the top and a bold white C beneath it. Both are plain heavy sans-serif capitals with clean cut terminals, no serifs and no decorative styling, filled solid white with a very faint soft grey edge shading where the white meets the red. The crop cuts through both letters, so only part of each character is in frame, and all surrounding artwork is excluded. There are no figures, no illustrations, no logos, no score windows, no instruction text and no borders visible. The whole impression is of giant white title lettering printed on a red background.
