Surfers

Full-length surfboard-shaped playfield in a pale yellow-green and turquoise palette, outlined by a chrome ball-guide rail that follows the whole board. The art is 1950s-60s cartoon surf-company art: a choppy green-and-blue sea fills the lower two-thirds, with a wide yellow horizon banner carrying big white block letters in medallions spelling SURF above the word VILLE in yellow, and small print reading LITHO INSTR. COLLECTION. Near the banner stands a tanned young man in mauve swim trunks and dark glasses holding a surfboard upright; beside him a seated dark-haired figure crouches on a wooden pier of planks while a white pelican and a small green-and-white figure stand among fishing gear. Above them a red, yellow and blue sailboat rides white water, seagulls fly, and a yellow-hued coastline with palm trees curls up the right side behind a lit lane of red, orange and yellow oval value discs marked 500, 300, 200, 100 and 10. Three round pop-bumper caps in yellow and cream sit upper-left of centre, with blue and red post caps and clear plastic bumpers. The lower playfield has two large triangular wooden-looking ramps printed with a swimmer and a flying fish, a pink surfboard-shaped centre ramp, and a black apron carrying a balloon-bonus card, a purple-and-yellow script logo and a 3 BALLS / 1 PLAY 5c / 5 PLAYS 25c card.

A painted surf scene on a teal/turquoise sky. A huge curved title reading SURFERS in tall yellow-green block capitals with black outlines and black drop shadow fills the upper centre, flanked by yellow-and-black diagonal hazard-style stripes; a white cursive script word sits just left of the title. Nine oval balloons float at the upper left in a fan, each a different colour (yellow, white, red, orange) and each carrying a single numeral, 1 to 8 plus a separate red 3, tethered by strings. The lower half shows a breaking blue-and-white wave with a rocky dark green island.
