Distinctive

The whole backglass is dominated by an oversized numbered playing card: a 3-by-5 grid of squares reading 1 to 15, each number in a different colour, framed by a bulb-studded cream card border. Directly above it a yellow ribbon banner spells MILLION in red block letters, with three curving red and orange number banners (700 800 900 / 300 400 500 600 / 200 100) sweeping across a purple sky behind a radio mast. A vertical arc of coloured pip-filled circles down the right edge carries 80, 50, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 and 10. Four round yellow buttons in a green ribbed panel and a row of black crowd silhouettes in the bottom corners complete the layout.

Full description

A backglass built as a large playing card, the cream-and-maroon card filling the centre against a deep purple/navy background. Across the top a yellow curved ribbon banner carries the word MILLION in chunky red block letters with a dark outline, and behind it a white radio mast with radiating aerial wires. Three sweeping red and orange arc banners curve across the upper third carrying the numbers 700, 800, 900, then 300, 400, 500, 600, and 200, 100, each in white. The main title TELECARD is a wide italic yellow-to-orange gradient with a black drop shadow, set in a maroon plaque. Below it a thin strip of small print sits on a brown band. The central element is a 3-by-5 grid of fifteen numbered card faces, 1 to 15, each number in a different colour on white, pink, green, orange, blue or maroon square. Below the grid are four round yellow buttons in a green ribbed panel, and a lower display window showing a small mosaic of yellow, red, orange and blue tiles. On the right a curving stack of ten coloured circles holds the values 80, 50, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 with printed card-suit pips. Black silhouetted crowd figures stand on yellow and white patches in the bottom corners.
