Fingerprint: "The 3 Musketeers": row of six swashbuckler heroes against pink sunset, bearded man aiming flintlock pistol, masked figure with red feather plume, Paris skyline with Gothic cathedral silhouette
A row of six oversized swashbuckler heroes posed against a blazing pink sunset, including a hooded dark-skinned woman holding a wide purple lace fan and a masked figure with a red feather plume. A large violet-blue silhouette of a Paris skyline with a twin-towered Gothic cathedral anchors the bottom right. The title is set in heavy blackletter with a large drop-shadow numeral 3 between the words. The whole sky is filled with salmon and magenta cloud masses rather than a plain backdrop, giving a screen-printed comic-poster look.

A landscape-format, brightly coloured comic-style backglass. The lower third is a detailed violet-and-blue silhouette of a Paris skyline with rooftops, chimneys and trees, dominated at right by a large two-towered Gothic cathedral with rose window and flying buttresses drawn in dark blue outline. Above it a huge pink, coral and orange sunset sky is filled with billowing cloud shapes in magenta, salmon and pale yellow, with small black birds scattered upper left. Across the upper half stands a row of six large costumed figures, right of centre, in the style of swashbuckling adventure-film publicity art: a central bearded man in a brown leather doublet with a wide lace collar aiming a flintlock pistol to the left; a white-masked figure with a red plume beside him; a man in a wide-brimmed black hat and white ruff; a grinning blond man in a blue tabard with a white cross; a dark-skinned woman in a hooded blue cloak holding a large purple lace folding fan; and a wild-haired long-bearded man at the far right edge. The title sits at lower left in blackletter. Colours are magenta, orange, violet-blue, white and gold. The glossy surface shows rectangular white ceiling-light reflections near the top edge.
