Coin-op playfield seen from above, with the lower apron and cabinet front in frame. The centre is a large circular clock-like disc with an orange rim and red sunburst hub, ringed by ten coloured number tabs (1 to 10) in blue, cyan, green, yellow, orange and magenta, and a red central medallion showing 11. Above it, airbrushed artwork of four rock musicians' heads: a dark-haired bearded man in black on the left, a shaggy blond man in the centre, a brown bowl-cut man at right, and a smaller blond figure in green and red at upper right. Blocky white lettering with blue shadow reads THIS ONE GOES TO ELEVEN across an orange leopard-print field, with a yellow GIG CANCELLED sticker below. Chrome wire ramps loop across the upper half, with two domed red pop bumper caps, a round white disc emblem top right and blue LED strips. The dull blue-grey lower deck carries two tan instruction cards and a Homepin badge; the cabinet front has orange and cream diagonal stripes and a lit red credit display.

Distinctive

The defining feature is the conceit: the entire backglass is a Marshall-style guitar amplifier cabinet, complete with chrome corner caps, five control knobs down each side, and the concert photograph used as the amp grille cloth. The second thing to remember is the logo — a jagged gothic/blackletter 'Spoon Tip' with a small TM, sitting on the amp head between two script banners. Third, a metal pedalboard-style strip along the bottom of the grille reads 'TURN IT UP TO ELEVEN'. Fourth, the photograph itself is a rock gig rather than painted fantasy: a singer in a red-and-white patterned sleeveless top, a blond guitarist in white, and a woman in a backless white dress with her arm up in the crowd haze.

Full description

A photographic backglass built as a mock guitar amplifier. The whole panel is a black cabinet with a brushed-silver amp head across the top: a gothic blackletter title reading 'Spoon Tip' with a small TM, flanked by two cream-and-black script banners, and a vertical row of five round silver control knobs down each left and right edge. The central rectangular 'grille' area is a live concert photograph: a long-haired male singer in a sleeveless red-and-white patterned top leans into a microphone at centre, a long blond-haired guitarist in a loose white shirt plays a sunburst electric guitar to the right, and a woman in a backless white dress at the left throws one arm up beside another mic. In the near foreground the backs of two audience heads appear — a dark-haired man in a mustard shirt at lower right and fair hair at lower left — with a raised hand and camera at the crowd barrier. Blue stage wash, haze and scattered pink, green and orange lights fill the background. A metal strip along the bottom reads 'TURN IT UP TO ELEVEN'. The lower cabinet section carries a second script logo, a dot-matrix alphanumeric score window glowing orange, and two blue-LED stepped speaker grilles. Below the backglass, chrome rail and blue LED buttons are visible.
