Tiger

Vertically shot, slightly worn wooden playfield in a strong red, pink, orange and yellow palette. The field is dominated by a large snarling tiger painted in mid-leap across the centre-left, black stripes over orange fur, mouth open showing teeth, one front paw raised and claws extended. A ring of small round white-and-red ball-guide lamps encircles the tiger diagonally. Condition: the white border is heavily crazed and cracked with age, the glass has surface scratches and reflections, and the coloured ovals near the bottom are scuffed.

Across the top a large two-line title in heavy italic capitals, gold-and-yellow with a thick chrome-white outline and black drop shadow. A narrower band of smaller red-orange script lettering sits immediately beneath the title. Two human figures dominate the centre: in the foreground at left a young woman facing the viewer, head tilted, wearing a white peaked flight helmet, a ribbed gold-orange corset over a bare midriff, and a bulky silver-grey mechanical harness with fin-like plates at her hips.
