Viking

Tall portrait-format painted playfield on a cream and pale yellow ground, styled as a seaside scene with a green tree-lined shore and orange sunburst arch across the top. At the top two red rocket-like pods with circular segmented target wheels sit in the left and right corners; between them flank a large central red-and-orange concentric-ring bumper assembly. Two vertical red flasher tubes, each labelled ADVANCE BONUS WHEN LIT above and 10 POINTS below, stand either side of that centre. Three starburst pop discs read 10 POINTS (two green, one red). Two pin-up women stand waist-deep in choppy green water: one at left in a red two-piece with bare shoulders and one at right in a yellow costume holding a trident. The lower field has two blue-and-yellow striped kickers marked 50 POINTS and 100 POINTS WHEN LIT, plus white FLIPPER bats. The bottom apron is scattered with black stars and carries two cartoon bathing beauties in striped costumes and caps, plus red-bordered instruction plaques.

A landscape-format backglass with a busy Norse sea-serpent scene painted in bold comic-cartoon line work. Across the top a red banner reads TWO PLAYER, and below it the word VIKING spans the full width in huge gold, bevelled block capitals with black drop shadow; the V and K letterforms are built out of horned Viking helmets. Upper left a cream-coloured cursive script signature sits beside a purple-and-cream striped ray banner. A red-and-yellow heraldic shield on the left says IT'S MORE FUN TO COMPETE. On the right a red circular badge with a white-and-blue bowtie motif reads 1 OR 2 CAN PLAY AT SAME TIME, and a yellow panel below reads BALL IN PLAY 2. The centre is dominated by a roaring purple-red dragon head used as a ship's prow. Below, choppy blue-and-white sea, two brown longships with striped square and red-white sails, seagulls, and tan cliffs on the right. Eight women fill the artwork: bare-breasted Viking women and mermaids in horned helmets, red and gold capes, some brandishing axes or spears. A cream scalloped window across the middle carries score reels numbered 1 and 2.
